Q) How do I apply for sponsorship?

Q) I can't find my Safari Snorkel template, can you send me a new one?

All snorkels are inspected prior to shipping to ensure that the template is in the box. Please double check your carton as the templates are taped to the inside of the carton and are often missed during unpacking.


Q) My Old Man Emu (OME) suspension is higher in the back than in the front, why?

OME suspensions are designed to maintain the factory front-to-back rake. This is because OME suspensions are engineered for load-carrying ability as well as lift. In some cases a rear leaf may be removed from the pack to level the vehicle, but there is a downside - the spring rate is also reduced. The spring will lose more height under load than it should and the rear will drop below the front quicker, with a noticeable drop in ride and handling characteristics, with a further side affect of the vehicle’s headlights blinding oncoming traffic. Please contact the ARB Technical Dept. for exact instructions and specific details regarding your particular application.


Q) Why doesn't Old Man Emu (OME) offer higher suspension lifts?

OME suspensions are engineered first and foremost for ride and handling quality. The amount of lift provided for each specific vehicle is within the maximum limits allowed by the stock suspension components so that extensive and costly modifications are not required.


Q) Does ARB offer a stainless air line to go with the ARB Air Locking Differential?

ARB does offer a heavy duty Aeroquip reinforced rubber hose kit for the Air Locker, part number HDAL.

Note, this kit is available due to popular request, however ARB believes that a correctly installed Air Locker with the standard nylon tube correctly routed along the path of the brake lines of the vehicle is the best for most applications.

Why? Well a reinforced rubber or stainless line can still be snagged, but will do a lot more damage to related components and it is much harder to repair this damage in the field.

A nylon line repair kit is available part number ASK001 and it contains spare line a connector and spare hardware to make speedy and simple field repairs.


Q) How do I return an item for Warranty replacement or repair?

Please contact the ARB Warranty Dept at 425-264-1391 to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and ship to:

Any items returned without an RGA number will be refused delivery and will be returned to you at your expense.


Q) My IPF lights came with Japanese instructions, can I get English language instructions?

ARB is a distributor of IPF lighting equipment and is currently working with the manufacturer to develop English language instructions. The diagrams provided with the Japanese instructions are typically enough information for installation, however, ARB's on-call Technical Dept. will be happy to assist you with any installation problems you may be experiencing.


Q) Why can't I buy on your website?

ARB is strictly a manufacturer and does not offer retail sales directly to the general public. ARB products may be obtained from any of our over 1300 distributors nationwide. You may also click on the 'store' link off the home page and create a wishlist that you may bring to a distributor to ensure you order the correct parts. Q) How long will it take to receive my catalog?

Catalog requests typically take about 3-4 weeks to arrive.


Q) How should I care for my ARB Bumpers?

In order to keep your ARB bumper in its original condition, ARB recommends treating your bumper with a Canuba based polish on all exposed surfaces. We recommend you repeat this process on on a semi-annual basis or following exposure to salt, sand or other contaminants. As part of any pre-trip preparation, or on an annual basis, it is recommended to complete a thorough visual inspection of the bumper, ensuring that all of the bolts and components are properly torqued and that all wiring sheaths, connectors and fittings are free of damage. Replacement components may be ordered from the ARB Tech Dept at (888) 427-2872.
