4th Gen Tacoma Overland Build

The 2025 Toyota Tacoma Overland Build blends TRD Off-Road capability with premium ARB gear to create a balanced, adventure-ready rig. Tuned suspension, protection, storage, and lighting deliver comfort, control, and confidence for long-haul overland travel.

Tacoma Title
2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in the desert

ABOUT THE BUILD

The 2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road provided the ideal starting point for an ARB 4x4 off-road and overland build. Its factory trail-ready features, combined with comfortable on-road driving, gave ARB 4x4 the flexibility to create one truck suited for both technical terrain and long-distance travel.

The Tacoma was outfitted with ARB 4x4 components, which were needed to support use on and off the trail. A suspension system was added to manage weight and improve control. Protection and recovery gear were chosen to handle rough terrain. All essential overland accessories are included to support longer trips. And the build features all-around lighting for changing conditions.

BUILT FOR LONG
EXPEDITIONS

The ARB Edition Tacoma was designed for daily driving, but built with off-road performance in mind. It is comfortable and predictable on pavement, but can handle technical trails and extended time off-grid.

These upgrades add control, clearance, and durability needed when the terrain gets rough. The result is a balanced setup that’s easy to drive day-to-day, yet confident and capable when the trail demands more.

We’re standing in a unique place at a unique time. American off-roading is a young adult, overlanding a teenager and those who swaddled and cradled them still walk among us. Interest in 4×4 is booming and, while we keep eyes on the road ahead, we pause now to recognize those who cut the trail.
