Bailey Cole's journey into the world of off-road racing began alongside his father. Hailing from Ontario, the duo explored the rugged landscapes and iconic trails of Big Bear and Johnson Valley. A defining moment came at the age of 14 when Cole piloted an 86 Toyota 4Runner through the grueling challenges of King of the Hammers (KOH) in his old stomping grounds of Johnson Valley, showcasing his early prowess in the off-road arena.

Toyota

Cole's 86 Toyota 4Runner was the very first IFS vehicle to compete in the KOH stock class, ultimately, paving the way for many. In the front end was none other than the tried and true ARB Air Locker, a drivetrain essential that Cole still stands by over 10 years later.

Control Without Compromise

Along Cole's journey, partnerships have played a pivotal role, and Bailey Cole's collaboration with ARB 4x4 Accessories has been instrumental. With ARB's selectable locker technology, Cole stands by the unparalleled control during races. Running both front and rear Air Lockers, Cole's tactics consist of the rear being locked for the majority of the race while the front remains open during the long stretches yet ready to be locked in a split second when the trail becomes crowded. This exemplifies the precision and mastery required to conquer such diverse terrains and solidifies the art of control and select-ability.

The Ford Connection

Cole's trajectory to off-road stardom reached new heights when he caught the attention of Ford. Following back-to-back top 5 finishes in KOH 4400, Cole and his team were selected to be part of Ford's Bronco race team program. The iconic Bronco, synonymous with adventure, found a fitting partner in Bailey Cole, showcasing the capabilities of the Ford Bronco and how it can stand tall amongst the best of the best.
